Engineering strenghens its relationship with Oracle: signs new framework agreement and confirms an upgraded collaboration in Italy

Engineering, a leading Italian company in digitalization processes for businesses and public sector and a longtime member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announces that it has signed a new framework agreement with Oracle to accelerate the digital transformation of Italian businesses and public administration. This agreement not only expands Engineering's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)-based solution offerings available to customers looking to evolve their infrastructure and applications, but it also aims to bring to life new combined solutions between Engineering's advanced skills and OCI’s cutting-edge cloud and AI services.

Among the benefits customers can gain:

  • Improved performance over more traditional on-premises solutions and lower TCO than other cloud platforms.
  • Improved security and SLAs, with simplified access controls, monitoring and auditing that maximize operational efficiency, availability, manageability and performance.
  • Global availability, with easy access to new geographies by leveraging OCI’s global footprint of 85 cloud regions.
  • On-demand scalability and faster time-to-market: because OCI is a scalable and highly available platform, it can help support the growing business needs of Engineering and its customers.

Engineering's expertise, together with Oracle's technologies, will enable the development of more customized and innovative solutions that combine the power of OCI with Engineering’s years of experience in managing complex projects, creating a real competitive advantage for customers.

In addition to the immediate benefits in terms of cloud offerings, this new agreement goes far beyond a business arrangement: first, it strengthens the foundation for the development of Engineering's expertise on OCI, with dedicated training programs, and second, it initiates a broad collaboration that will extend to joint marketing and innovation:

  • new targeted certification and upskilling initiatives for Engineering professionals will further strengthen their skills on OCI, helping ensure that teams have the necessary capabilities to tackle increasingly complex technology challenges
  • Oracle plans to activate dedicated teams and lab environments to support Engineering in the development and management of new Oracle Cloud-based solutions, to enable excellent end service to customers.

At Engineering, we are committed to creating synergies through partnerships with which to build an integrated ecosystem that facilitates the deployment of agile, secure and scalable digital solutions that meet the challenges of every industry. With Oracle and Engineering working together in synergy, customers will be able to count on solutions that not only enhance and evolve their IT infrastructure, but also their ability to innovate, grow and compete globally.” said Fabio Momola, Executive Vice President of Engineering.

“At a time like this, when it is more important than ever to have the most secure and performant cloud platform - for example, to efficiently train AI algorithms that bring value to organizations-the renewed and relaunched collaboration with this new framework agreement will bring the benefits of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure both to Engineering itself and to our customers.” added Andrea Sinopoli, VP and Cloud Tech Country Leader of Oracle Italy.
