Engineering wins two new lots of the Consip framework agreement on Cloud services

The Engineering Group leads the partnership with Leonardo and SMI, which will allow local PAs in central Italy and National Entities to migrate IT services towards a Cloud delivery model.

Engineering, Italian leader in digital transformation processes for PA and companies, has been awarded lots 8 and 10 of the Consip Cloud IaaS and PaaS framework agreement for the provision of public Cloud services to Public Administrations.

The Engineering Group leads partnership formed by Leonardo and SMI, which, through the two lots won, will offer local PAs in central Italy (Umbria, Abruzzo, Lazio, Sardinia, Marche), National Entities such as, among others, INPS, INAIL, Bank of Italy and Consob, technical professional services to migrate IT services from an on-premise delivery model (involving the installation of  software on a PC or on a local server)  towards a Cloud delivery model, a technology that will enable them to be agile, flexible and efficient.

This award comes a few weeks after that of lot 1 of the same Cloud framework agreement, obtained in partnership with Almaviva, presenting the services of the Amazon Web Services CSP, which offers a list of IaaS and PaaS type Cloud elements prepared by Consip with which the administrations will be able to acquire the Cloud resources necessary to quickly and easily activate migration projects to the Cloud.

Thanks to almost 2000 specialists dedicated to the world of PA, deep knowledge in cutting-edge technologies and competence centers covering all areas of Public Administration and services to citizens, for more than 30 years Engineering has been deploying technological skills and knowledge of processes, to accompany small and large administrations in digital transformation initiatives that make PA increasingly innovative and sustainable.

With these new awards, Engineering Group, which stands as a strategic asset for the digital transition of our country, will continue its commitment to Smart Government projects, directing and supporting Entities in all activities of migration and cloud adoption of an application or system, ensuring business continuity and a methodology applicable to every SaaS, PaaS and IaaS service, including those published in the AgID marketplace.
