HyperCute - The digitalized culture

A web based platform to store, distribute and aggregate multimedia content of cultural value.

Where: international
Challenge
The aim was to create a web platform offering SaaS services for storing, classifying, and archiving valuable multimedia content. From these, the platform would seamlessly generate complex narrative aggregations, including immersive content blending a 360-degree background with traditional multimedia content.
Approach
HyperCute originated from the synergy of two research endeavors dedicated to media and cultural heritage. It unlocks the potential to seamlessly curate information from both tangible and virtual sensors, weaving this real-time data into the fabric of narrative products.

Solution
Digital Ecosystem
The platform allows to archive cultural content ensuring the preservation of digital formats and the most important connected metadata according to European standards (European Data Model) and the possibility of distributing such content in compliance with copyright through its servers or through the main distribution cloud infrastructures (eg Amazon AWS). It also allows, through intuitive interfaces, to create narrative aggregations of simple content with particular attention to immersive backgrounds that can also be enjoyed through mobile devices and the most common AR / VR devices.
