The client had been looking for a reinsurance management system since 2018 with two previous unsuccessful attempts behind them, through an external vendor and through in-house development.
Approach
We demonstrated to the client through direct reports and POCs the value of XLayers over the competition. Our approach was characterised by a clear separation of roles between ambassadors, sales and operations, included a assessment preparatory to the actual implementation and careful and structured project management.

Our solution replaces the completely manual system used by the client until now, standardizing and automating the technical and accounting management of reinsurance. Industrialization of the process makes it possible to shorten the time currently required for accounting closures, while simultaneously decreasing the workload of users. The adoption of XLayers allows the client to have greater granularity and better data quality. The usability of this data is ensured by the reporting capabilities offered by XLayers, which give the company a clear view of technical and accounting trends, with the necessary level of detail. The system also ensures the audit trail of the entire process and is prepared for the potential later activation of additional modules (e.g., XInward for the management of inward reinsurance).
