Where: italy
Challenge
Our Client operates in the fuel and motorway services sectors and is a leader in the Italian market with 5000 gas stations and sales outlets in Italy and over 10 million unique customers. In recent years our Client was involved in an M&A with another major player in the sector, which required the harmonization of IT systems and tools to create a unique Digital Workplace for the group.
Approach
The Client needed a platform standardization strategy and cloud solutions to guarantee the least impact on business continuity.
Solution
The solution created by Engineering D.HUB, our company for outsourcing and migration to cloud services, consisted in the transformation and migration of the acquired company's Digital Workplace from the GSuite platform to Office365, involving 850 mailboxes and 650 users. In detail, over a year of work, we have provided directory services and e-mail services, we enabled the migration of data from Google Drive to Microsoft OneDrive, we launched change management activities and trained users. Following Engineering D.HUB methodology and its best practices for the Digital Workplace, the project included a pilot on 50 users, to technically and procedurally validate the solution and the migration kits, before extending them to the rest of the company.
