Waste Management

Discover our Composable Platform for waste lifecycle management: an end-to-end approach that enables timely and presumptive environmental hygiene charge billing and implements integrated processes between CRM, material delivery, waste collection and on-demand services.

The Growing Challenge of Waste Management

Global waste generation has reached unprecedented levels. This rise in waste, coupled with stricter environmental regulations and sustainability targets, poses a significant challenge to traditional waste management systems. National policies and international agreements set ambitious goals to reduce waste, increase recycling rates, and limit landfill use all of which require sophisticated, adaptable waste management solutions.

The current waste management infrastructure is under pressure to balance efficiency with environmental impact, particularly in light of the EU’s Circular Economy Action Plan and related initiatives. There is a pressing need for integrated systems that not only optimize collection and disposal but also promote responsible waste practices across communities. To achieve these goals, a data-driven, interconnected approach to waste lifecycle management has become essential.

Urban Waste Management Platform: a comprehensive solution

To meet the evolving needs of a more Integrated Waste Management adoption, we developed our Urban Waste Management Platform (UWMP), a Composable Platform that provides a comprehensive, data-driven approach to the waste lifecycle. This end-to-end solution is tailored to manage waste processes effectively, from collection and billing to monitoring compliance, encouraging sustainable practices, and maximizing operational efficiency.

The UWMP supports a wide range of stakeholders, including municipal authorities, waste service providers, and local communities. It combines the Neta Waste module from our Neta Open Suite with third-party solutions to ensure a seamless, flexible experience. By adopting a governance-centric model, our platform establishes a cohesive digital ecosystem that tracks key metrics such as operational efficiency, environmental impact, and service quality.

Engineering & NRRP, one mission

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) represents a fundamental development opportunity for Italy to bring about changes that will benefit society as a whole, redefining the contours of the country’s economic, social, and cultural fabric.

Technology represents the great enabling factor of this transformation: the digital revolution today requires us to rethink our world not only in terms of efficiency but also sustainability.

Engineering has always sought to improve the world in which we live and work through the use of cutting-edge technologies. The NRRP accelerates and supports what has always been our mission: to be the main partner for the transformation of the country, from companies to institutions.
