Andrea Malatesta, Business Development at Engineering Industries eXcellence, will speak at 2:20 PM during Breakout Session, Stage 4: “Howdens Joinery’s journey to make-to-order with SAP’s cloud MES”, where he will share the story of Howdens Joinery’s digital transformation and how the company transitioned from a traditional make-to-stock model to an agile make-to-order production system using SAP Digital Manufacturing.
The project enabled greater product customization and the creation of a connected supply chain with real-time product traceability, thus realizing the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
