Engineering is again this year participating in the Healthcare Innovation Forum, the event organized by Core on March 26 in Rome (Palazzo Wedekind, Piazza Colonna).

The event is therefore an opportunity to learn more about the new approach to outcome assessment: quality of technologies and evolution of processes. 

Natalia Pianesi, Director PA & Healthcare Processes & Solutions, will speak in session 2 at 12:30 p.m. entitled “Sustainability in health systems and equity of access and delivery to care. A holistic view”.

Pianesi will outline Engineering's vision on the topic, highlighting how it is crucial for the sustainability of the Health System to focus on the “quality-resources” pair, rather than on reducing the latter. In fact, it is by optimizing the relationship between health outcomes-derived from care and treatment actions (outcomes) and the resources required to undertake those actions (costs) that paths of sustainability and value for the Health System can be traced.
