Engineering participates in Valore Acqua 2024

On the occasion of World Water Day, Engineering presents "Water Management", a solution that, thanks to AI, enables conscious and sustainable management of water resources.

The company is a partner of the event organized by The European House - Ambrosetti, which brings together national and European institutions and key leaders in the extended water sector in Rome.

Engineering, a leader in digital transformation for businesses and public administration, is a key player in the final event of the fifth edition of Valore Acqua for Italy, the Community activated by The European House - Ambrosetti to design innovative solutions for water resource management, which takes place today at the Acquario Romano on the occasion of World Water Day. During the event, Engineering will contribute on the theme of water resource management, believing that cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, Blockchain, and IoT can support the conscious use of a precious resource like water and are a fundamental driver of competitiveness and sustainable development.

Valore Acqua will also be the occasion for Engineering to present the Water Management solution, a horizontal technology platform that, thanks to an early warning system and predictive analytics based on AI and Advanced Analytics, is supporting water managers, municipalities, institutions, and users from North to South Italy in practicing a conscious approach to water, reducing losses, and optimizing its use. By integrating with the best market applications through a network of partnerships, the Water Management Solution ensures valuable solutions and high-impact advisoring, thanks to Engineering’s strong expertise in business processes and enabling and emerging technologies.

Guido Porro, Executive Vice President Enterprise of Engineering comments: “In recent years, the effects of climate change and the infrastructural conditions of the extended water sector in Italy have required companies in the industry to shift towards a paradigm focused on circular water management and reducing withdrawals, consumption, and losses. Engineering can make a significant contribution to the modernization of the sector, promoting water resource management not only in terms of efficiency but also sustainability. Our Water Management solution allows for a rethinking of the entire water cycle, optimizing water network management and reducing losses in the distribution of public water.

Umberto D’Angelo, Director of Business Development Energy & Utilities, will speak today, March 22, in the panel dedicated to new smart & digital water paradigms for water resource management, discussing how innovative digital technologies can support operators in the integrated water cycle.
