Gaetano Miccichè
as New Chairman
of the Engineering Group

The appointment follows the entry of Maximo Ibarra as CEO since last October.

Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa, the largest Italian technology group, announces that the Shareholders' Meeting, held today, has appointed Gaetano Miccichè as the new Chairman of the Group.

The appointment follows the entry of Maximo Ibarra as CEO since last October and is part of the new phase of Engineering’s development undertaken by NB Renaissance and Bain Capital, the controlling shareholders of the company.

Gaetano Miccichè, who has gained an important and well-known career in a role of fundamental aggregation between the world of industry and that of credit, has held - and still holds - positions of great responsibility contributing to the success of the main financial and system operations of recent years in our country. Miccichè, after having held important managerial positions in the Intesa Sanpaolo group, is now Chairman of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of the banking group and Vice Chairman of Prelios, positions that he will continue to hold

Gaetano Miccichè, in his capacity as the new Chairman of Engineering, comments "I am happy to take on this role also because the Engineering Group in its 40 years of history and growth has crossed and supported the development of thousands of industrial, financial and public entities".
