Enable Traceability for AgriFood

ABSTRACT
How to use digital technologies to improve food chain traceability

Where: italy
Mission
Promote sustainable and conscious consumption by tracing the origin and processing of food.
Solution
Our solution aims to overcome the silos-based vision by creating advanced traceability, a meta-system capable of improving information and optimising processes by enabling digital penetration throughout the supply chain. AgriFood traceability can be applied to the different sectors such as wine, olive oil and dairy products.
Actions
Data acquisition through the installation of specific sensors for agriculture. Analysing supply chain data collected and processed using Big Data analytics tools improves the customer experience. Digitising a detailed identity card with the entire history of the product. Enabling traceability throughout the life cycle of an AgriFood product: from field cultivation to harvesting, processing, packaging and distribution.
