A user-friendly water management

With the support of Engineering, Rivieracqua manages water resources by putting the end consumer at the centre.

Where: Italy
Challenge
RIVIERACQUA manages about 150,000 active supply points in about 70 municipalities and is the result of the aggregation of 4 companies: AMAIE, AMAT, AIGA and 2iReteGas. The catchment area includes a population of more than 240,000 inhabitants and covers a territorial surface area of approximately 1,160 square kilometres. As part of the corporate renewal programme, the need was identified for an innovative solution that would place the user at the centre of the company's activities.
Approach
To achieve this goal, it was decided to create an innovative web and mobile platform that would allow greater proximity between Manager and User, with a focus on the robustness of the Billing and Credit Management processes.
Solution
Engineering accepted this important challenge, bringing in high-profile skills and human resources. Our Net@2A suite was chosen to best meet the customer's needs. A process of unification of databases from different sources was carried out, in a way that was fully compliant with current regulations. The new Self-Care platform will allow greater autonomy in consumer activities, improving the user-experience.
