Our client is a manufacturer and service provider for the commercial aerospace, industrial and defense markets. It now specializes in components such as actuators, controls, valves and surface treatment services. The customer had the vision to create a Digital Factory, and we were brought in as their strategic partner to help navigate this transformation.
Approach
By working closely with the customer's stakeholders at each phase, tackling inefficiencies from every angle and creating a seamless integration between all manufacturing systems, we helped the customer take a giant leap towards achieving true paperless manufacturing. With their new Digital Factory running, the customer can now confidently continue to innovate and produce the most advanced and reliable products for their leading customers.

Our team led cross-system, cross-process, cross-business unit Industry 4.0 assessment to deliver customer-specific software solution maturity plan. Then, we deployed Siemens Teamcenter to manage all product design, engineering and manufacturing data in one system. We also implemented and integrated tools for Direct Numerical Control (DNC) and Digital Work Instructions to fully automate their factory floor. Finally, we delivered consulting project to help the customer optimize their Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling applications integrated to their Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) central database.
