The FIWARE team presents the “Smart Cities - Quo vadis?” online event. FIWARE is up and running in roughly 250 cities, across 30 countries worldwide and it has been helping them to get their smart city projects started and implemented.
The event is intended to showcase an unprecedented insight of cities into how they used FIWARE to become smart(er). By following and using FIWARE’s open common standards, Smart Data Models, and open-source technology, these cities, ranging from Europe to Asia to North to South America, are not only delivering a state-of-the-art, but also smart, digital, sustainable, and effective strategies and public services. The invited Smart Cities will present their journey towards digital transformation.
Two hours packed with city insights and latest market-driving news. Participants will have the opportunity to meet city representatives of cities from FIWARE's ecosystem and learn from their experiences.
Lanfranco Marasso, our Smart City Program Director, will give a key note speech accompanying participants on a journey of cities from ancient Rome to the cities of tomorrow.
