This event will bring together researchers, practitioners and experts in academia, industry, space agencies and regulatory organizations around the world to examine challenges and potential solutions to address the emerging opportunities presented by the transformation of industry and the pressing need for climate monitoring and change mitigation. Participants will have the opportunity to network, strengthen alliances and establish new partnerships and collaborations.
The theme selected for the 27th Ka and Broadband Communications Conference is “Telecommunications, Navigation and Remote Sensing Satellite Systems for Earth Observation and Space Exploration”.
The Conference intends also to encourage participation and contributions in all areas of telecommunications, navigation and Earth observation satellite systems, missions and applications focused on Earth observation, climate change, and environmental monitoring and change mitigation.
Our researcher Piero Scrima will give a speech in the session “Special Session on Integrated Applications for a New European Union (EU) Vision of Space Downstream” on October 20th about the progresses of the AgriBIT project in lowering costs and environmental impacts by improving production yields to increase the accuracy and continuity of Precision Agriculture services.
