The Italian Conference on Big Data and Data Science (ITADATA2024), organized by CINI's National Big Data Laboratory, aims to bring together Italian researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, government, and public administration to discuss and shape the future of Big Data and Data Science in Italy and abroad.
The event delves not only into theoretical and practical research and applications related to data, from governance, to processing, to analytics, but also into research and application in related areas where data and data science technologies are key such as Cloud, Edge and IoT, Intelligent Computing, Blockchain, Security and Privacy.

- Ernesto La Mattina, Technical Manager in AI & Advanced Analytics, in the workshop “Cybersecurity and Data Spaces: covering the last mile of innovation” on Sept. 17: presenting the European LAGO project and its reference architecture for a secure and reliable European research data ecosystem in the fight against organized crime and terrorism
- Davide Dalle Carbonare, R&I Business Developer, participating as a representative of the Board of CINI Lab Companies on Data Science, Technologies and Applications.
