The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) is the flagship event of the European Big Data Value and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community, organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) in collaboration with the European Commission (DG CNECT).
This year’s EBDVF theme is “Data and AI in action: sustainable impact and future realities”.
The event brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI
Engineering R&I team will be present as follows:
- Roberto Di Bernardo, on 26 October, will intervene in the session “Empowering the Public Sector through AI”, about the complex challenges that arise in the pursuit of the objectives outlined in the AI Act by the European Commission;
- Davide Dalle Carbonare, on 25 October, will intervene in the sessions “Visions on European AI, Data and Robotics – shaping the SRIDA” and “Global Manufacturing-X Systems: Shaping industrial data ecosystems together”. The next day, he will participate in the sessions “Smart Manufacturing Data Ecosystems and their Socio-Economic Impact” and “AI for a more sustainable and circular EU Manufacturing and Process Industry”;
- Massimo Bertoncini, on 25 October, will take part in the session “Leveraging on big data management and AI to deploy consumer-centric smart energy systems”, about the cutting-edge world of big data, artificial intelligence, and data governance within the context of the energy domain;
- Delia Milazzo, on 26 October, will participate in the session “Data Spaces for enabling AI solutions in AgriFood. The current situation, the opportunities and the forces”.
