The FIWARE’s 9th Global Summit will take place in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the leading open-source conferences for entrepreneurs, developers, businesses, technologists, academia and government.
Technology is changing the way we live, work, and engage with one another, join the Summit to discover what the world’s smartest open companies, cities, universities, and developers are doing differently to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s digital economy.
This year, the Global Summit will focus on the latest news in the field of smart cities, open data and open-source digital innovation. The event will host 500+ experts from all over the world, 150+ speakers, 120+ sessions, panel, and workshops, and 100+ business match-making meetings, to present the latest innovations on digital transformation based on open-source technology and successful projects in the agri-food, manufacturing, energy, water, tourism and ports sectors.
Our R&I team will actively be involved in the event as follows:
- Dario Avallone, our R&I director, will intervene in the introductive phase of the event
- Martino Maggio, June 12, will present CaPe: A solution for consent and privacy management in data spaces, in the session “Making Data Spaces happen!”. Martino will also intervene the next day in the “Open Data Cluster Closing Event”, talking about the INTERSTAT project, on an open statistical data interoperability framework
- Lanfranco Marasso, June 13 will give a speech titled Data Space for smart cities: an application in Italy powered by FIWARE, in the session “Make Data Spaces come true!”
- Angelo Marguglio, June 13 will open and close the session “Smart Manufacturing through Smart Data Sharing”
- Gabriele De Luca, June 13 will talk about the OPC UA Agent, the open source FIWARE solution for integrating OPC UA OPC Foundation devices in a plug-and-play way and how we improved and validated the component in the i4Q Project Biesse pilot, in the session “Do Robots dream of Smart Solutions?”
- Vincenzo Croce, June 13, will intervene in the session “Smart Energy. Energy Data Sharing, -Security, -Efficiency, -Profitability: The Power of FIWARE for Advanced Energy Solutions” with a speech titled Energy Data Space: Bringing together energy and data value chains to enable the energy transition
- Guseppe Cafiso, June 13, will intervene in the session “Innovation Projects with FIWARE” presenting the DOME project about a Distributed Open Marketplace for Europe Cloud and Edge Services
- Alessandro Rossi, June 13, will intervene in the session “Digital Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with us” with a speech titled FIWARE Universe – A modern approach for wiring the smart world.
