Disruptive technology risks management in the public sector

Disruptive technology risks management in the public sector

ETAPAS workshop on how to manage ethical risk and social impacts.

April 30 2021

The increasing diffusion of Disruptive Technologies is opening up great opportunities, but they also open the door to ethical concerns. This is even more important for the public sector, where service providers have greater responsibilities to consider and address the ethical, social and legal repercussions of these technologies.

The workshop aims at sharing know-how, stimulating discussion on the topic, learning from the experiences of other similar initiatives and networking.

Roberto Di Bernardo, Head of Open Government Group R&D Laboratory, will give a presentation on “Enabling inclusive data-driven decision-making in urban planning for more accessible cities” providing an overview of URBANAGE project and expected governance challenges in making the adoption of disruptive technologies in the urban planning decision-making process for more accessible cities with focus on older people.
