The impact of new technologies on information. Engineering promotes "Augmented journalism: the future of information at the time of Artificial Intelligence", a conference organized by ANSA on 22 October at the Talent Garden in Via Ostiense, Rome.
At the event, conceived as an opportunity to discuss how the increasing pervasiveness of AI-based technologies can transform, enrich and challenge journalists, publishers and the public, Francesco Saverio Nucci, Application Research Director of Engineering, will present with the European project Fandango. Born from a European consortium within the Horizon framework, the project uses Artificial Intelligence to combat the phenomenon of fake news and create a more secure flow of information at a social level.
The conference of 22 October is anticipated on 12 and 13 October by a Hackathon, a marathon that will always take place at the Talent Garden, where programmers, developers, experts and operators of programming and the web, divided into groups / teams, will work tirelessly for 2 days, with the aim of creating solutions on AI applied to information. The best solutions will be evaluated by a jury of experts and awarded during the Conference.
