The Linux Day Orvieto is dedicated to the open source Linux operating system and free software in general, promoted in Orvieto by the Orvieto Linux User Group Social Promotion Association and organized thanks to the collaboration of the Fondazione Centro Studi Città di Orvieto, of Ergonet Web Hosting , Engineering and the Institute of Higher Scientific and Technical Education of Orvieto.
The 2021 edition addresses numerous issues, including the best Linux distributions, the advantages of adopting free software, the IT security of CMS, the treatment of privacy and data security, open management systems for libraries, free frameworks for software development and open source office suites.
The event will involve citizens, companies, schools and local authorities and will be held with training seminars led by industry experts.
