Engineering: leader della Digital Transformation

Digital Health Information Superhighways

Digital Health Information Superhighways

Event organized by the Center for American Studies in collaboration with the National Council of Engineers.

Rome, November 03 2021

The "silos" approach in health information systems limits the visibility, understanding and evaluation of data: interoperability between systems therefore plays an essential and primary role. Bits travel on networks: it is not just about transport but also about "availability of data and information when and where they are needed". Suitable, safe, high-performance, easy-to-use and interface infrastructures are indispensable requirements for the now unspeakable needs of a new modern national and European health and social system.

These will be discussed at the Digital Health Information Superhighways, an event organized in Rome by the Center for American Studies in collaboration with the National Council of Engineers.

At the working table, institutional roles and technological specialists from the world of healthcare will alternate. Paolo Craca, Healthcare Business Development and Presales Director of Engineering, will address in particular the issues of cybersecurity applied to the context of healthcare structures, with a focus on the interventions necessary to guarantee a multi-layer and multi-level defense.

The event will be streamed on the Youtube channel of the Center for American Studies.
