Innovative technologies and sectorial expertise for Security

The Defense and Aerospace sectors are the epitome of the centrality and value of technological innovation in all aspects. With its wide range of ICT solutions for both operational and management needs, Engineering has been a reliable technological partner for all their national and overseas clients in this sector for over fifteen years.

In the Defense, Security and Space Engineering sector, it deals with the development and maintenance of command and control systems on a strategic and operational level (command support systems) and on a tactical level (combat systems). In particular, the several years of working with the Italian Navy has provided experience in the MSA (Maritime Situation Awareness) sector, in both military and civil contexts.

In the Intelligence field, Engineering deals with integration of SIGINT systems and sensors, a sector in which the company is a reference technology partner for National Agencies and also for NATO since 2012.

The Group's ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and Healthcare Competence Centers have provided drive to the implementation of dedicated systems for handling information, with particular reference to document management and military messaging (STANAG 4406) and the creation of military healthcare support solutions. Further corporate competences in the cyber security sector are made available to clients by the Defense, Security and Space Division. A systemic approach and a combined research-production action are characteristics of Engineering's work in the cyber security field.

In light of a change in the space sector model, which is increasingly focused on optimizing services rather than on infrastructures (satellites and ground stations), Engineering is the ideal partner as it more capable than others of using information from space to provide  the user with added value services.
