Services and technologies in the interest of citizens

“Welfare state” or “Social state" means a state that guarantees social rights and services for its citizens' well-being, trying to ensure minimum living levels for everyone, that may concern health, education, income and housing.

Managing these topics, by extension and complexity, requires information systems that can support increasingly complex and interconnected processes.

For the services that rotate around these contexts, ease of access for citizens and operators also become a central, vital moment.

Engineering is a historical partner for the bodies in charge of managing the "Social state" - such as the Ministry of Labor, INPS and INAIL. The group develops and manages information systems for the body's specific activities and  for "typical" internal management (staff, accounting, purchasing...).

Engineering realizes and manages systems for these bodies intended for application cooperation, portals for the forwarding and exchange of mandatory requests and communications among the various subjects and government levels and also systems for managing procedures and verifications, calculation algorithms used for individual positions or insurance premiums.

Collaboration with these bodies, which are among the largest in Europe due to the volumes managed as in the case of INPS (Italian National Pension Fund), requires competences of a different kind, which are not only functional or domain-oriented for the institutional matters handled but are also  organizational, due to the breadth, heterogeneous nature and diffusion over the territory of the multitude of activities managed.
